In Central Europe court rulings are becoming one of accepted formal sources of law. The selection of a court ruling to be source of law is done by the court issuing this ruling by a two step procedure. The court mode law is a content of so called legal sentence extracurially. In Central Europe a court decision is not an independent source of law, because it is connected with an other source of law, usually a piece of legislation. Acceptable methods of interpretation of court decision as a source of law are determined by the fact, that it is not an independent source of law and by the role of so called legal sentence formulated in court proceeding.
