Abstract. The text
critically reflects the use of human dignity in the reasoning of court decisions.
The author concludes that an increase in the tendency to include everything in
dignity as an objective value may lead to the notion of a moral order of
society, which in fact leads to a restriction of the subjective freedom of each
individual.
