Positions and significant functions:

Editor-in-chief of the law review Právny obzor (since 1996 till present);

Member of the Legislative Committee of the Government of Slovak Republic (since 1993 till present);

Senior Research Fellow and chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of State and Law; from 1988 to 1995 she led the institute as its director;

She is also the member of the Slovak Bar Association and the Czech Bar Association, acting as a consultant in the law firm White & Case and she is the arbiter on Permanent Arbitration Court of the Slovak Banking Association;

Previously she worked as an external university lecturer in the Faculty of law of the Comenius University and the Law Faculty of Paneuropean University in Bratislava and was the member of the governmental commission of Czechoslovakia for the preparation of the federal Commercial Code.

Liability in law of economy (1983), Dictionary of commercial law (the head author at al., Bratislava - 1994, Prague - 1996), Contractual penalty (1994, 2011), Commercial Code, Commentary 1st and 2nd part. (head author et al. 2005, 2008, 2012, fourth edition will be published in 2016), Principles of commercial law (the head author et al.), The first part (2009), 2nd part (2010), second edition (2013), Institute of limitation in commercial law (2015), and dozens of articles and studies published in professional reviews at home and abroad;

Membership in scientific organizations:

Member of the Learned Society of Slovak Academy of Sciences

The most important awards:

The state award called “Rad Ľudovíta Štúra I. triedy“ granted for outstanding merit in the field of legal sciences (2003).
